Yawn, Knowing what the conclusion would be, along with the flimsy foundation of all the ' will she won't she ' made the narrative especially tedious and way too long. Boooring. However, the book did have a nice last paragraph that finally made sense of the title.
I picked this up because I liked the movie the Notebook, but found this book to be flat. Not likely to read another Sparks. The plot concerns a 'science' debunker journalist coming to a small southern town to investigage a light phenomenon in the local cemetary who falls for the town librarian. ( )
