If the world can stay in a region this is Campania, land rich with every beauty, both natural and built by the patient hand of man. Inside, the large river Sele has traced a landscape which is rich and complex, whilst the mountains of Matese, Sannio, Irpinia and Cilento delimitate a marvelous zone. The coasts, moreover, like those of the Amalfitana and Sorrentina, are so beautiful as to be famous all over the planet and the islands curl in the sea with the famous names of Capri, with its stacks, Procida, Ischia. Then there are the Vesuvian sites of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Stabia, Oplontis and Boscoreale, and the valley of the temples at Paestum: all ancient cities which had an important role in the history of the Mediterranean. Last, but not less important, Naples, with its remnants of history, from the old quarters to the Royal Palace of Caserta.
