This is one of the best book I've read. I was able to relate to Paige and her grandma. It made me so happy to read this book and look back on my memories with my own grandma. Paige is very close with her grandma and the bun bun stuffed animal that her grandma made for her was very special to Paige. There is so much love in this book and it reminds me of my childhood days at my grandma's house. They would baked cookies and sit in the big blue chair with all the cats and dogs and share all their love. My grandma used to have lots of cats down stairs and I remember going down with her to feed and play with all her cats. I can tell Paige and her Grandma have a very close relationship and it remind me of the relationship I had with my grandmother. During the story, Paige's new stuffed animal bun bun went on an adventure while tied to a balloon. Bun bun went all over,and through the night, finally he was untied from the balloon and fell back into grandma's loving hands. After being patched up, grandma put bun bun back on Paige's bed and they were finally reunited. ( )

A very cute and fun to read story from Patricia Polacco. Paige is a lovely little girl who likes spending time reading books with her grandma. They share a special bond and when Paige asks her grandmother to make something special for her, she makes her a special stuffed animal. Paige falls in love with her special bunny and names it Bun Bun Button. They spend hours playing together and reading stories. Little did she know that Bun Bun Button was going to be taken away by a floating ballon. Paige is devastated and her grandma tries to console her having no success. The bunny goes through many adventures and it's able to be reunited with his owner. ( )

In this heart warming story, Paige and her Gramma have a close relationship. Paige and her Gramma read stories on the blue chair with all the pets listening too. Paige asks Gramma to make her a toy to cuddle with while reading. Gramma makes a stuffed rabbit, which Paige names Bun Bun Button. After tying her beloved Bun Bun Button to a balloon, Paige loses him. She is saddened and has hope he will return. Luckily, Bun Bun Button makes it back to the house after an adventure in the air.
Patricia Polacco, the author, once again shows the special bond the young character has with her family member. This book is very colorful and fun to read. ( )
