This is a wonderfully atmospheric novel set in Cornwall, England. Rich in details and wonderful descriptions, the characters stand out individually. We see human nature at work and emotions are true and clear, not only for the heroine Isabel, but the rest of the cast when a house party doesn’t go smoothly.
Trencarrow Secret is a well written coming of age tale. Isabel must grow up as the members of her family start to reveal that not all is perfect in their world. She must learn to listen to her heart. And a handsome house guest only complicates the matter. ( )
