( ) Absolutely awesome book if you're a fan of the zombie sub-genre of horror. It starts off with folklore and legends of zombies through-out history. It even goes into the actual Voodoo practice of Zombism, including a well-documented and medically recorded case of Vodoo Zombism through which it was revealed that the zombie-like trance that Voodoo "sorcerers" put people under are a result of coma-like state induced using a very rare and very potent form of animal neurotoxin that also makes them VERY susceptible to control. Most of the book follows Hollywood's love for zombies and the many, many zombie films created since the 1930s. It also touches on novels, comic books, and video games featuring zombies but not in nearly as much depth as it goes into the movies. You'll be sure to discover a few zombie flicks you've never heard of by reading this very informative book. And as a bonus: Full color, glossy photos throughout! nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
