Attualmente non vi sono conversazioni su questo libro. wow , such sensitivity and lovely prose , so earthy and romantic ( ) Whitman has a style all his own. And I like it. What I don't like is his self-absorption and promotional attitude that seems to creep in sometimes. "Oh Captain, My Captain" and some other poems are just beautiful. Those are the poems when he seems to lose sight of his self. And that's okay. In fact, it's wonderful. But writing a poem to your chest hair?
