This is an interesting examination of the Eucharist, and specifically its institution by Jesus at the Last Supper. It is a very intellectual book and did not engage my own faith or feelings other than as an interesting study. It felt tangential to my lived experience of the Eucharist, in other words. ( ) Oh man, I wish I had heard of this book sooner. Another awesome read. Brant Pitre is a most excellent scholar who can delve deep without falling into the abyss. This is one of those books that you ruminate over and reread because it's so deep and so amazing. It was so awesome to see his connections and figure out his next points without feeling like you're being lead. It would be wonderful to sit in one of lectures. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
