All of the stories had the same moral -- bad things happen to naughty people and children. Some of the things that happened were so sad, I was, like, "Well that was extreme!" But overall, this book makes me want to have children, so I can share these wonderful stories with them :-) Just delightful, the innocent and simplicity of a child's life nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

There were a couple of cute stories, but most were misses for myself and the kids I read to (ages 7 and 9). Some of the stories barely had a plot.
There were also inconsistencies, sometimes in the text itself (a woman's name changed halfway through the story!) and especially between the text and illustrations by Hannah George - for example, three children were shown when the story is only about two; a story about wingless pixies shows a picture where they have wings and are flying; and in another, a boy named Leslie is drawn as a girl! I can't understand how it could be so difficult to read this little children's book before illustrating the pictures - or approving the illustrations, for that matter! ( )
