Author covered the character world from FDR through Wild Bill Donovan to [our hero] Dick Kanady in 1943 as the OSS does sneaky stuff on Sicily. The writing style appears stilted and artificial, like Army writing, and the long repeats from previous books are annoying. Nevertheless, I had fun reading it. ( ) Typical Griffin. Hugely detailed. Even though the result can be anticipated, this book nevertheless builds a certain tension., weaving fact and fiction to support the facts. While it never would interfere with my enjoyment from reading Griffin, the typical rush to end the book occurs. His characters are true to the "life stories" established in earlier books. i always really enjoy this series of the oss. this continues where the last one left off. i always learn alot and i love that at the end of the book it gives you the rest of the facts of the situation it was talking about. this one is about the v1's that germany built that were like the first missles. they had a jet pulse and were able to be sent 130 miles away. their plan was then to add nerve gas behind them in the bomb to do even more damage. but i will let you read the book. loved it as always. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
