Narrated by Nick Podehl. Henry decides that he and his buddies Riley and Reed need more excitement in their lives and he comes up with outrageous stunts and ideas in order to do so. Poedehl ably and energetically presents an entertaining and humorous caper but a little more finesse to the pacing would lift this production. ( )

This story revolves around three rambunctious twelve year old's; Henry (the assumed ring-leader), Riley (the always prepared note-taker), and Reed (the terrified one, who questions everything, but always ends up in the middle of the action). Henry declares that the three embark on a series of daring experiments to prove their manhood, their limits to themselves, and of course, to impress girls. This book is hilarious, and although it seems some of the sub-characters are portrayed in stereotypical means, the three break from the constraints, and prove that anybody can do anything they set their mind to. Even disaster. ( )

The book takes place in Cleveland and these boys are off to an adventure led by Henry when they decide that they are living pretty common lives, a little boring for their age! Throughout the book they attempt different adventures that somehow always turn out disastrous. For their first adventure, they plan to beat the world record for the Most Forward aiborne somersault on a bike. This chapter book is fun to read because children can identify with it right away. They always want to learn something new, beat a new record or simply call the attention of others.
