The latest edition of this successful book continues to address the basic question: What is an appropriate response to domestic violence? As in the previous edition, the authors provide a brief overview of the theories of causation of domestic violence and its prevalence in our society. They focus on the rapidly evolving nature of the criminal justice system response to the problem and the opportunities and limitations of various new approaches.
