Well, I didn't expect the double twist (who is who is who), but it wasn't a bad ending. ( ) Demon is kind of an average story, but it has several great moments. One is the twist that we've known was coming ever since Volume Two-- but it's still a greatly done revelation nevertheless. And Miller is smart; he couples the twist I knew was coming with one I'd never expected. Everyone gets their moment to shine here: Zayne, Gryph, Slyssk, Rohlan, even Elbee the loading droid. And the way it all ends is just perfect, especially the final fate of Zayne, now a Jedi operating outside the Order. Funny and dramatic in equal measures as always, Demon is a good cap to a great series. This volume collects the last issues of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. For the closure, it is worth the purchase price, although the artwork by Brian Ching is a bit messy for my taste. The tone of this volume is not as lighthearted as some of the earlier issues. Again, if you need to know what happens to Zayne, Jarael and the gang, read this one. But this series ends with the weakest of all the stories and artwork so far. Miller wraps up the story, and the comic book series, with a satisfying finale, wrapping up the storyline of Jarael’s dark past. He gets in some more foreshadowing of the fall of Revan and Malak— I suspect that anyone reading this series first and then playing the computer game would find it fits together very well despite the game coming first— and makes the whole thing a good page-turner. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
