How could I have forgotten to mention this bookshop before? I suppose I always thought someone else would mention it first, but apparently not. Some days I genuinely wonder whether this is not one of my very favourite bookshops ever. The owner is a delightfully dapper and slightly (enjoyably) eccentric scotsman, and the books heave from floor to roof (and that's quite some distance) that you often doubt whether anyone has ever found something on the higher shelves. I've found so many great crime novels (in dust jackets!) and old cartoon books (likewise!) and feel as if I'm never going to fully come to terms with what's on the shelves. Such a great shop. Highly recommended.
