- The E. K. Harry Library of Fishes, located on the second floor of the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum, is the information center of the International Game Fish Association. Its mission is to collect, document, and preserve significant materials and artifacts relating to the past, present and future of sport fish and sport fishing, to provide access to these materials, and to disseminate information to the local, national and international public.
Though the International Game Fish Association had been collecting materials since its inception in 1939, the Library was officially established in 1973 by IGFA President Elwood K. Harry in response to the recognized need for a permanent repository for angling literature, films, photographs and artifacts.
