[Great Books] by [David Denby]

Great Books by David Denby is an excellent account of the author's experiences while auditing a college course on the classics. Has anyone read it?

I enjoyed it as well.

I’m reading it. I think he could probably put out a revised edition. A lot of the pop culture references from the 70s and 80s to make it seem dated when it really could be a timeless work.
