Hi Chicagoans! I'm looking for recommendations for used and antiquarian bookstores that are easily accessible from Metra stations in the Chicago suburbs. I tried Titles, Inc. in Highland Park last week, which was great: a nice older downtown with some good lunch options, and a very good shop. Thanks in advance!

In Evanston, there's Amaranth and Bookman's Alley, both within a couple of blocks of the Davis station. (Plenty of places to eat in the neighborhood, if that's a consideration.) And Chicago Rare Books is a few yards from the Main Street station.

Thanks! Sorry, I forgot to mention that Evanston is the one 'burb I'm really familiar with, but I like all those shops and visit them pretty regularly!

Bundles of Books in Glen Ellyn is an awesome used bookstore that I recently discovered with the help of some friends. There's a Metra station really close to it and lots of other cute shops and restaurants nearby!

And if you're in Glen Ellyn, stop by The Bookstore to get some new books as well. I love that store, I drive all the way down from Palatine to buy my books there.
