Thought I'd toss out another fun event for the literary-loving theater crowd.
Last night I went to one of the preview performances of Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure at The Side Project Theatre (in Rogers Park, super close to the Jarvis Red Line stop).
It was a super fun show! I know the actress playing Irene Adler so partly this is a bit of a plug for her, but it was also a really well done play that I think others will probably enjoy. It runs through August 22 and tickets are only $20 (with $10 previews and industry nights) so if any fans of the sleuth want a fun and relatively inexpensive night out - check it out!
