IDing a true ML edition

I only have 1 ML at the moment, and I'm not even sure its a legit ML. The endpapers are simple white. The dj is a cream color with the title and author in medium size blue letters on the front with the torchbearer centered at the bottom middle.

The spine of the dj has the title, author, and torchbearer at the top, and Modern Library and the torchbearer at the foot.

The front cover has the torchbearer embossed at the top right, and the spine has the title, author, and Modern Library at the top. The copyright page reads "first Modern Library Edition 1936," also that its published in the US by Random House. I guess i should also mention that here is no catalog in it at all, bound into the book or printed on the back of the dj.

What you have is a late 1970s reprint when Random House was trying to revamp the series. You won't find much info on modernlib.com since most ML collectors don't collect the 1970s reprints. Some refer to them as Grocery Bags for the brown/tan paper used for the dustjackets are about that color and texture. RH only printed them for a few years 1975-1978 or so. In the early 1980s there was another attempt at reprinting the series, but this time with djs featuring fabulous woodcuts by Stephen Alcorn. This also didn't last very long and only a few books got the treatment.
