Can anyone recommend a good/interesting jam/preserve making book? Has anyone tried Mes Confitures: The Jams and Jellies of Christine Ferber?

Putting Food By included jams and preserves and has a longstanding high reputation. A new edition is coming out at the end of May.

I love The Ball Blue Book and Clearly Delicious. The Ball book tells you how to can just about anything, and Clearly Delicious has a great recipe for marmalades and a cranberry butter that is fabulous.

Sonia Allison's Book of Preserving is my favourite and one I've used for years. It's a lovely-looking book with a traditional feel and it goes way beyond the ordinary jams and chutnies to include such delights as fruit cheeses/butters, rumtopfs etc. I haven't tried all the recipes but I have drooled over them all.
