There is a new ability in the groups lists, to suggest combinations of groups to avoid duplication and clear out some of the lesser used groups. I've proposed that we join with the group Amazon Kindle, and the vote bar should show at the top of the main page for both this group and the other. Please vote, and if anyone here belongs to the other group, please let them know. There may be a reason there are two, but if so, I'm unaware of it. At any rate, either outcome is OK with me, but I wanted people to notice that this vote is being done.

Hi Marge: I didn't even know there was an Amazon's Kindle Group. I checked it out and the folks there look okay. But there's someone there named krazy4kats. If we merge groups I don't think we should tell her our secret code word or our super-secret handshake.

I would rather see this group merged wit Amazon's Kindle group. I don't like this cutesy name.

Either one is OK with me.

Tell me your secret code word and I'll tell you whether it is good or bad. ;-)

I say merge, though I normally wouldn't join any group that would have me for a member...quoting W.C. Fields, methinks.
And we must have a mascot so Krazy4Katz is IN!
Let's leave the secret codes to Dan Brown!

Krazy4Katz, the codeword is RRRRRrrrrrrrrr! Who told you? I'll bet it was that auntmarge64. Just can't keep a secret around here.

It appears that Tim Spaulding, LT's owner, has decided to handle the group combination issue in a different manner, so he has removed the votes. Given the results our two groups had when I last checked, though, (most in favor, 2 not in favor), I'm wondering if the listowners might talk and see if it would benefit us to join forces.
