How do I delete my own reviews?

I mistakenly put my book read date under reviews. I'm trying to delete them, but when I logout, and get back in, the date is back. Even though I deleted and saved. Can anyone help? I hate that I'm messing things up and can't fix it! Thanks!

When you delete the date, are you clicking on the Save button?

Are you doing this edit in catalog view, or date view?
