Just watched the movie again for the, oh, maybe, fourth time(?). Going to reread the novel, starting tomorrow, for, oh, maybe, the fifth time.
I still get something new each time I watch/read this work. Maybe it has something to do with getting a bit older and (maybe) wiser (or, at least, a bit more experienced, myself).
I want a bumper sticker for my car from the movie: "Are you shoveling to survive, or surviving to shovel?'' (take whatever your career pattern is and replace the word "shoveling" to make it more relevant).

"In the end, only kindness matters."

Doogiewray, I do not mean to be rude, but are you sure it is not that single sukebe look from the heroine that so excites you about this particular movie?

Well, that, and also the fact that I grew up in sand dunes along the shore of Lake Michigan.
