I'm having a hard time finding fiction books about Idaho. I found a few that are romance-type books...but that's not my thing. I like adventures, mysteries, animal stories, stuff like that. :) Anyone have any ideas?

Sharon Creech's Walk Two Moons follows a girl on a road trip to Idaho, but I honestly don't remember how much of the book takes place there.
Not that I can think of anyone off hand, but would you consider biographies of Idahoans for your non-fiction?

I enjoyed Gladys Smith's River of Our Return, a novel about homesteading/pioneering in the Idaho wilderness along the Salmon River. There is also a sequel.
She's a local author (Western Montana) so knows this area of Idaho/ Montana very well.
