What are you reading?

Hi I'm new to the group, thought this would be a good way to introduce myself and get to know you all.
So, what are you reading? How is it?

I'm almost done with Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote - a true classic. Next up, The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger - looking forward to that one, it's gotten such great reviews!

I am also new to the group, but at the moment I am not reading a Chic Lit book, I am reading Into the Wild and another called Merle's Door: Life Lessons From a Free Thinking Dog.

Both are good so far.

I just finished Time After Time by Sue Haasler, which was ok, but not great, mainly because the ending was rushed and pure wish-fulfillment.

Before that was Such a Girl by Karen Siplin, which was excellent - a frivolous retelling of Jane Austen's Persuasion.

Summer Blowout by Claire Cook

With the exception of Cook's work, the first three books were great! Summer Blowout just sort of ambled along and was, unfortunately, pretty uninteresting. Next up in my chick lit pile? Emily Giffin's Something Borrowed and My Best Friend's Girl by Dorothy Koomson!

Just finished Confessions of a shopaholic it was soo cute and funny although you wanted to shake the main character a lot of the times. Also made me hungry for curry, those who've read the book will understand lol.
