HAPPY FRIENDS...LOTS OF BOOKS

Once in a while we read something that touches our hearts, makes us laugh or even cry, and reminds us that someone in our little group just may like this book also. I thought that if we had a dedicated thread for just listing the title and the author and perhaps the genera of a book you have read and enjoyed, someone might check the posts and be delighted to get yet another book on their TBR pile:) There is nothing saying that you HAVE to read what is posted here or that you HAVE to like the book, the author, or the genera...you don't need to recommend the book to any particular person...but you might find some new "friends". You also don't have to write yet another review...just put the book out there. I'm also going to post this on Around the World, Dusty's Treasure Trove, and Mystery & Suspense. If you belong to any of these groups and you wish to post the book on any these sites also...great...but again you don't HAVE to. If you have questions please ask.

I sent these already to several people individually, but they are good ones to start off with. They are not intended to be a recommendation...just books that I particularly enjoyed and if someone is looking for a good story ...they may also enjoy them.

All That Is Mine I Carry With Me - William Landay - Genera: Mystery/Thriller/Cold Case Investigation
Peacemaker - Morgan Brice - Sharpes & Springfield Series Book #1 - Genera: M/M Romance/Thriller/Paranormal
The Twisted Dead - Darcy Coates- Gravekeepers series Book #3 - Genera: Paranormal
Dark Hollow Road - Karen Ann Hopkins - Possum Gap series Book #2 - Genera: Physiological Thriller
The September House - Carissa Orlando - Genera: Paranormal/Horror

Two books that I really enjoyed that I have been recommending to people the past couple years are both nonfiction. I wasn't expecting them to be such awesome books.

The Lost City of the Monkey God - Douglas Preston
Killers of the Flower Moon- David Grann

>3 daxxh: I don't read much non-fiction, but I read both of these and loved them both.

Yay! Thanks for adding this thread, Carol.

Some books that I recommend. Two are recent reads, and one is a classic

Bringing Columbia Home by Michael Leinbach (modern US history about the search for the pieces of the puzzle of why Columbia broke up upon re-entry)
The Maid by Nita Prose (if you like Agatha Christie mysteries, this is definitely in that genre! Modern cozy mystery set in A City somewhere in the US)
Watership Down by Richard Adams (always a classic, and the descriptions of England's Downs have always tugged at my wanderlust)
