Found: Forgotten Title Occult Fiction

All I remember : Fiction. A group of occult investigators whose headquarters are on Half Moon Street in London. There is a cat whose name is Bubastis. I believe it was a series of books. That's all I remember other than that I quite enjoyed the books. Hopefully yours, Peter.
