Volume Two of Richard Frank's Trilogy on the Asia-Pacific War

I was fortunate to attend in person the International Conference on World War II at the National World War II Museum from November 17-19, 2022.
Author Richard B. Frank was among the panelists who participated in the Conference and is the author of Tower of Skulls: A History of the Asia-Pacific War, Volume 1.
I briefly spoke to Mr. Frank, and he informed me that Volume Two of his trilogy of the Asian-Pacific War is scheduled to be published in the Spring of 2024. This second volume will cover the time period from the initial raids by US carrier forces in the Pacific in the Spring of 1942 to the conclusion of the Mariana Islands campaign in late 1944. Mr. Frank also mentioned that many research libraries and related institutions were closed for significant periods in 2020-2021 because of COVID, and these closures caused delays in his research on the second volume.
