Looking for a specific poem about teenage loss. I believe its fairly contemporary. Its from the perspective a group of teenagers who have lost one of their friends and it has lines similar to "the summer after we lost you the path behind our houses stopped being the path", "we saw your mother in the grocery store", "we learned how to like liquor" (all paraphrased). But they also talk about riding their bikes and graduating. If anyone knows anything it would be much appreciated.

Long shot, but I thought of "David" by Earle Birney.
