Revenge and Mystery.

The Book started off with a Woman and child, she was working in a high rise building and just finishing up for the night when a few men burst into the room and attacked her, she was thrown out of the building and died, the young boy was also thrown from the building but he survived, the story the followed the young boy who was now a grown man who was in a wheelchair I believe, he then tried to find the person who killed his mother.

Long shot but maybe someone can help, I don't remember the Author or any other info.
