Hi there! I'm looking for a book that I read maybe 8 or 9 years ago and it unfortunately got lost in flooding, I just can't seem to remember the title!
I remember it was a murder/ crime erotica where a ginger haired male detective was trying to solve the deaths of girls murdered in their homes, and was getting assistance/speaking to a famous male of sorts. Part way through there is a adult scene with the detective and one of the women (I'm not sure if it was a suspect) who styled themselves alternatively/Gothic. The detective was ridiculed by his peers because of his hair colour and pale freckly complexion.
The killer was the famous male.
I believe the cover that I had was dark grey and had police tape on it, and either had a chalk body or a hangman icon on it. The font was in hangman style I believe. I think the name was to the effect of post mortem but I can only find a novel from patricia cornwell which is definitely not the book in question.
Any help you guys could give would be amazing!!!
