Girl wears veil over one side of face to hide scar

I read this book years ago and can’t find it anymore. It’s about a woman whose ship was captured I believe by a Scottish clan. One side of her face was scarred and she covered it with a veil. Her uncle had scarred her. I think she also had an island and that’s where she was heading.
