I'm currently reading The Name of the Wind because a dear friend likes it. I'm having a hard time liking it and wondered why yall like it. maybe there isn't something im appreciating.
for context: I'm at chapter 26 of 93. Kvothe just pawned his book. I also have been told some of the adventures that partake in book 1 and 2. I don't care about spoilers.

Looking at the reviews, I wouldn't touch it. Apparently the author has a problem with females.
Even if the vast majority of raters have been positive, this is one of those rare books that has every possible rating. If you don't like it, you are not alone.
