what happend i was gone for like a year?

i got sick after an evening out with friends, had a glass of water and went to bed.

of course i was late for work the next day and had to cancel a lunch with the girls.

when i went to bed, i thought i felt a lump on my side, and it was big.

i'm guessing it was either my lungs or ovary.

i had been up at 1: 30 and couldn't get back to sleep so got up.

to say the least i was in quite a bit of pain, my back, side, lower back, thighs, legs and feet hurt.

i didn't have the emotional reserves to even cry, which i'm pretty sure is good.

i could barely walk.

i was walking with the top of my right foot dragging.

i called the dr. on call and asked for her to call in a pain pill.

she said the office had all the needed meds but they didn't have oxycodone.

i didn't even know it existed.

they have benicar and rocuronium, which is an anesthetic, and that was good enough for me.

i got a stronger pain pill from the local dr and took it when i got to work.

i was about a mile from work when it kicked in.

my next thought was the pill must be pretty strong.

i took it when i got home.

of course it took over an hour for it to start working.

it made me want to sleep but it didn't.

i tried.

i'm a super light sleeper.

i'm lucky i didn't fall asleep in my drivers seat.

i got to work, and called and had my mom get me some strength so i could do what i needed to do.

we finally went to lunch, me in pain and with an almost straight head.

i couldn't even eat.

i started taking pain pills and some cold meds. my dad had told me i needed to go to the dr. i finally got up and drove myself to the dr. and when i got there, she did an exam and said it was my ovary and was very swollen.

she said she would schedule me for an ultrasound and sent me home.

i have an appt with my doc today.

they had me wait for about 15 minutes before i got back.

they called me back and told me they could't get the wand thing right.

and it was time for me to go.

as soon as i left the office i knew i couldn't drive home.

i had to stay with my mom until my dad got home from work.

i am now waiting for my mom to come home and get me and i will go to the dr. and get a refill on the pain meds and get more meds to take in the morning.

the doctor gave me a new Rx for a pill that i will take every 4 hours that is for extreme pain.

so i'll take it every 4 hours and at the same time, a second one.

i'm not supposed to take anything unless i have to take it.

so far so good.

my back and neck are sore but nothing like it was.

i feel fine now, but am hoping i can sleep a little.

thankfully it's the weekend so i don't have to go in.

i'll post when i know more.

afternoon update - i am finally feeling better.

i got the kids taken care of and my dad picked me up.

we went to his apt and he gave me a script for muscle relaxers and i have taken a pill already.

the ache is still there but it's less.

my body is finally starting to heal.

i'm waiting for a call from the dr's office about getting an ultrasound.

Today I almost got struck by lightning while waiting for the bus. When the bus arrived, a thunderstorm began and it started raining, which gave me a bit of a fright. Unfortunately, the school's power kept cutting off and turning on, leaving us without wifi, lights, and food. We had to eat pre-packed meals since they were unable to cook without power. I was unable to get any work done due to the power cuts, and I was stuck in a strange schedule. Despite the fear and confusion, I made it through the day.
