The historian Lucy Worsley has just had published in the UK a new biography entitled 'Agatha Christie An Elusive Woman'. The book has had wonderful reviews although I sometimes suspect that such a well-liked and well-connected writer who has lots of friends in the literary world may not be short of favourable reviewers. I should add that I am a fan of Lucy - she wrote an excellent book on Jane Austen and that brings its own recommendation for me.

>1 English-bookseller: I would second your endorsement of Worsley’ Jane Austen at Home which I read earlier this month, although I felt it had a “dry” start.
Would thoroughly recommend Agatha Christie’s Come, Tell Me How You Live: An Archaeological Memoir if you haven’t already read it. It would make a lovely FS edition, or perhaps better as a Slightly Foxed edition.

I have to agree with >2 CarltonC: above. I would love to see a Folio edition of Christie's autobiography. (I have always loved the story she tells of the cat who was brought in to deal with a serious mouse infestation of their camp someplace in the Middle East. The group she was with was making too much noise and according to Christie's account, the cat gave all the humans a look as if to say "Pipe down. I"m working here!" )
