Unable to Add Book to Series

Alliance Unbound by CJ Cherryh has a publication date of 2023. It is the second book in the Hinder Stars series.

I have added the book to my Library, but am unable to add it to the Hinder Stars series. When I type in the name I get a "not found" result.

Suggestions?

Never mind, there must have been a delay, it's working now. :)

If there wasn't a copy already, it probably just needed some time to be available through search. In such cases, you can immediately add it from the work page, since then you have to search for series, not the work, which is yet to be indexed for search

Also, the work page has a link for recently added series, so you have access even to series you are just creating.

You can also add works to series using the workbench. Just add works to the workbench and they'll appear in the dialogue box for adding to series.
