Dr. Zhivago

How do you all feel about the SE Dr. Zhivago? Does it have all the same illustrations as the LE? I have never read the book ,but like the movie and love his Fathers artwork. It reminds me of Vincent.

As well as the two volume SE currently available from the FS, there is also this beautiful edition that is widely available for less than US$20 on the secondary market.

I can’t comment on the comparison to the LE, but it is probably my favourite SE that I own. Beautiful production and great value.

Thanks to all for advice. I think I will buy the new edition, I really like the artwork.

I was just checking the LE’s and noticed that Dr. Zhivago is no longer showing as “sold out”. Tried ordering one and it went through, I have one on order now. It looks like they have at least one other available. I am not sure if they found some others or repaired some…. I will be pleased if it arrives!
