Hello! I am looking for a YA fantasy book likely published between 2005-2016 and had a little over 400 (I think 416) pages. It had a female author and the cover may have had a watercolor texture. A quick premise is young women with blue blood have super powers that range from mind control to creating wind, when they are discovered around puberty they are taken by the king never to be seen again. The heroine is one of these girls. To save her from this fate her mom put her in a monastery that kicked her out, she was kidnapped by some dudes who wanted to reward from the king. She and one of her kidnappers run to a near by kingdom, fall in love and take part in a war to save these other girls.
The longer premise and EVERYTHING I remember about this book. It starts with the heroine in a tree getting bullied by some boys, when she falls from the tree she learns she is special. Her mother in fear shaves her head and takes her to become a monk, knowing that the king won't find her if everyone believes she's a boy. But while fixing a wagon wheel she gets hurt and monks find out who, or what she is. They like her and want to help but cannot risk the wrath of the king so they kick her out. Now bald and alone she is wandering aimlessly. This is when three men kidnap her. Two of them are large ugly brutes but the last is a good looking young man who needs the reward money. Yes she is checking him out either before or after he ties her to the back of his horse. Despite how good looking, and probably well meaning this young man is she fights and throws them from his horse. He hits his head almost dies, she escapes her bindings and rushes to his side to save him. She learns that her power is healing people by taking on their injuries, but it's fine because she heals quickly. They know that they cannot stay there so he tells her about a kingdom with a queen that could help them. Together they runaway to this kingdom while ogling each other as only teenagers can. The queen tells them that her husband is away on business but that she could take them in. The pair go about the village, the girl heals a young boys broken arm that wasn't set right and the boy decides that she is too good to date a lower class guy like him and tells her they can't date. After this an army of super women show up and the war begins. The dude is out fighting while thinking about how great his now ex girlfriend is, and the girl is in the castle healing the wounding upset that he would break up with her. She ends up dying from taking on so many injuries, but when she comes back to life the army is gone and she now has purple blood. The book ends with her writing in journal about where this new blood type could come from. But this is the only book, there is, or was, no series.
About the author because if I can find her I can find her books. She grew up in Utah, USA goes by a pen name and wrote this book while on a road trip with her family. Her daughters wanted to hear a story and this was the story her told them. She had another book about lovers from separate possibly waring planets, and a couple others. I believed she had around 6 books when I read this one in 2016.

>1 QueenCluckersIII: I know I've heard of this book before, but I'm blanking on the name! All I can think of is the Red Queen which has a similar premise.
