Help finding book title

I read a contemporary romance novel a while ago about a young widow with lots of girls and a feisty cat living next door to a bachelor who lives with his dad. His dog is afraid of her cat.

I am trying to remember the title of a book, it may have been 2 books, that I read several years ago. The main character is a dancer who meets the love of her life in the street. She goes out to stop him when he goes through the neighborhood on his loud motorcycle early in the morning and they end up together. He is a secret operative in military and disappears. He makes his best friend promise to look after her if something happens to him and she ends up falling in love with him and moving on. He owns a casino and hires her to dance in the restaurant at casino. Other guy comes back from the dead.
