a contemporary romance novel where FMC was repeatedly sexually assaulted by her boyfriend's father. The sexual assaults happened when she was younger before they started dating and not happening currently. Because of the resemblance between father and son especially the eyes he started wearing colored contacts because he noticed it made her feel better and not get triggered. he does not know about the sexual assault and doesn't find out till way later in the book.
it's contemporary so it was published I'm going to guess 2000-2020 but I read it within the last 5 years. I am not sure if it was a young adult or adult.
