can't single space my favourite books list on my profile

Hi
Just yesterday there was a new( to me) format for adding to my profile. I added a book title to my " Favourite books Read in 2022" but I couldn't change the spacing to single spacing. Now my list has a portion single spaced but a few double spaced. I couldn't find a way of correcting this. Can someone help me with this?
Thanks

Looking at your profile page: are you talking about the line spacing (the vertical spacing between new lines) in the section? I'm pretty sure this is what you're looking at...or is it something else?

Can you point out the titles in your 2022 list on your profile page where you're seeing this?

Okay, I think the line spacing is what you're talking about. I'm seeing this.

The reason is because the rich-text editor is adding elements (probably 'p' - paragraph - elements) around new lines in your text, which has specific line spacing.

I'm discussing this with the developers, to see how it should be getting handled, but in the meantime you can work around this issue by clicking the "view HTML" button (the "< >" button) and add your new titles this way. Make sure there's no 'p' elements in the list, which will cause the added line spacing you don't want.

Okay, after discussing with the devs, I think the issue is that we need a line break (br) element for single returns instead of the paragraph (p) element that's getting used, instead. The rich-text editor we have, in its current form, does not offer line breaks. We'll need to add some code to handle this.

So this is getting closed as not a bug, but I'm leaving it with the note that we'll* be adding line breaks to the rich-text editor in the near future. (And the workaround noted in >3 kristilabrie: can be used until then... thanks for your patience!)

*Should be: conceptDawg needs to find the best solution, here.
