Covers not displaying on series

Hi, I've noticed a couple of times that within a series, a book that has a cover image will not display that cover image on the series page. For example, here:

In this series I have all titles from 1943 to 1948 and I know I have cover images for all of them. But in the series view I only see covers for 46 and 47 (plus 41 and 49, which I don't have). Those images display fine within my library and on the individual work pages. Any idea what's happening here?

If you have the book, the work page will show your cover. The problem is probably just that the system hasn't picked a cover for the work. You can do that on the work page using the "Recalculate cover" link over on the right, then click the "Work-only work page" to see the page as others see it, showing the system selected cover which should appear on the series page.

Also, in the listed series, 1952 doesn't have a cover uploaded nor is there from Amazon. Thus it has no cover to display.
1953 has a cover from Amazon, but the link appears to be borked, so it won't display either.

Closing as not a bug, though it's unfortunate we can't fix the broken Amazon cover.

I really wish the system would recalculate covers on its own more. At a bare minimum, you'd think the work cover could automatically be recalculated whenever you upload or select your own.
