March Batch Is Up!

Hey everyone! We are very pleased to launch our March Early Reviewers batch!

The batch this month is huge: 170 titles, with 4,077 copies.

We've got a new entry in Akashic Books' Noir series—Denver Noir— new translations of celebrated Chinese (Rouge Street: Three Novellas) and Russian (Brisbane: A Novel) novels from Henry Holt and Plough Publishing, another book from publisher And Other Stories (The Visitors), and so much more!

So, which books are you hoping to win? https://www.librarything.com/ner

Is there any way at all it can be made easier to see the entire text (or at least significant portions of it) without clicking "see more"? I'm doing nothing but clicking on that and it's truly annoying.

And only 30 actual books. ~sigh~

I went to enter the "Paper" Copies for this month of books BUT it keeps taking me back to the February ones that are closed, is anyone else having this issue?!

That was temporarily happening, but it should not be happening anymore. Please let us know if you're still seeing it.

>3 Sheila_Samuelson: I'm also having the same issue. I found some books I wanted and couldn't click on the request link because it said "batch closed." (I should have realized it once I got to the book I had won in the February round!)

:sigh:

Third month in a row that there isn't ONE book that interests me. That's never happened before. I've skipped one month before, but never three.

Oh well, I'll be back for April.

There's a new Rachel Fordham title that looks appealing, and a thriller Elysium Tide that sounds different in an intriguing sort of way ...

>12 fuzzi: Same... every now and again I find batches that completely disinterest me and I guess this is just one of those. :-/

I'm having the exact opposite problem... 😅 Even though I also find it sad that the majority of offered books are ebooks (which are just no 'proper' books for me), this is the second month in a row where I have at least five books that really interest me, and I just cannot request them all, given my slow reading pace atm... 😅🤔

>17 Yuki-Onna: our inability to find books we like enough to request means there are more books for YOU!

I’m excited to read, seems like a great collection of classics, theoretical, philosophy and more.

Not really excited about this batch, sadly. Of the print offerings, it felt like everything was either already part of a series or focused on spirituality.
