just wondering if we are following any protocol with this series. this series has four incarnations:
1. c 1940's
2 c 1946
3.c 1970's
4 c. 1990's

The first two had between 20-30 books, only; the fourth has 45? Also, the fourth has fewer illustrations than the original two. I have never knowingly seen the first editions, or the third.

The series in LT has between 30-40. it has included some of the 4th incarnation titles, not original to the first two series.

all these titles, regardless of the series production are in LT hundreds Xs over; but not all appear in the series.

I have many of these orphaned works in my own catalogue- but I don't know if they are welcome, as they are not necessarily junior illustrated versions- but those versions do exist in LT.

For instance, Anne of Green Gables is a 4th incarnation work in this series. I don't have the jr illustrated version, but I can see that people do - and it is lumped into the main grouping for that title. Should it be entered? or was somebody trying to keep it solely to 1st & 2nd incarnations? (and not succeeding)

I can add the missing titles easily. The question is what was the desired goal?
