Searching Multiple Collections?

I have added different collections to my library, such as "SciFi/Fantasy" and "To be read-unowned". Not all of the books in the "SciFi/Fantasy" collection are unowned, or unread.

Is there a way to search more than one collection at a time?

For example, if I want to search for all the SciFi/Fantasy books I want to read but don't yet own I either have to scroll through my "To be read-unowned" collection to locate a SciFi/Fantasy book or I have to scroll through my "SciFi/Fantasy" collection to find one I don't own.

It would be nice to have a way to search both collections at the same time.

The overlapping collections in the Graphs section?

I’ve built my collections and tags to allow me to do that: either by using overlapping collections in the Graphs menu https://www.librarything.com/stats/MEMBERNAME/collections or by looking for a tag inside of a collection when I need more complicated scenarios where I do not have collections.

It will be nice to be able to do search in a set of collections indeed but what you are looking for is a multi-collections overlap, right? Not just search.

PS: you actually can do multi-collections overlaps by manipulating the URL, see: https://www.librarything.com/catalog/AnnieMod&special=collectionsoverlap:1,7...

I use the main overlap page to get the IDs of the collections and then add them together. Now - making that overlap easier is a good idea (unless someone knows how to do it without using the URL - I never found another way).

>3 fuzzi: More than 2? See above an explanation on how you can get that. If you just want overlap between 2, Charts&Graphs -> Books->Collections.
