Cannot delete certain author CK even on the relevant language site

There seems to be a new bug with the site not accepting deletion of certain non-English CK fields on an author page (date of birth, date of death, gender), even when you are logged into the relevant language LT.
After I combined the following author, there were combination issues highlighted due to CK on a secondary name:
https://www.librarything.com/author/bayldongeoffrey/issues
These relate to Welsh-language CK (cym.librarything.com).
Initially when I went to remove it, there was also some English CK (which all removed without trouble), and then switched to cym.librarything to remove the Welsh CK.
The Welsh CK was: 1) date of birth, 2) date of death, 3) gender, 4) birthplace, 5) occupation.
It has permitted deletion of 4) and 5), but 1), 2), 3) persist and cannot be deleted whether on www.librarything or cym.librarything. Cynfelyn has also attempted to delete (thank you for trying) but no joy.
By coincidence today, I've also found this author which is a second example of the same:
https://www.librarything.com/author/robertshearman
whose CK has an incorrect date of birth and gender in Turkish CK (tr.librarything.com). The same applies, it does not appear possible to remove these fields despite trying in both tr.librarything and www.librarything.
I can't swear that it's a new bug, but I found a couple of threads talking about other language CK and neither seems to reference entirely undeletable fields, only that one needs to be in the relevant language-LT. They're both still open so I'll link to them here in case it wants to be rolled together:

Can we check this again?
There was an unrelated bug that I fixed this week and that could have fixed this problem.

>Can we check this again?
I've rechecked with the combinations issues example for the author in post 1.
On .com, when I remove the errant Welsh-language CK it still reappears on reloading the page.
Logging into cym. no difference either, trying to remove the errant Welsh-language CK it also reappears.
Ditto with the Turkish language example in post 1. So, sorry to report no change with this bug.

Thanks for the bumps and the current examples. (As long as there is one live example, no further examples are needed and it will just clutter up the thread, making it harder for us to scan the issue once we're able to get to it.)
Unfortunately, I don't see this getting the time it needs for a while longer, so I really appreciate your patience in the meantime!

Finally I can enter data in LT.de again. Also data I entered in LT.com is now displayed in .de.
At least this is true for OPDs. In Mac/Firefox after the change a "Refresh" is necessary for the display.
A new problem has appeared in .de.
Double clicking in the OPD field in my catalog, I get into edit mode, but I can only make new entries. The existing ones are not even displayed.
Possibly this is the same error that >25 JMK2020: has already pointed out.
Of the first 100 entries in my library have:
- 53 no OPD entry
- 47 one or more entries.
- 32 one date* (*probably correct date) https://www.librarything.de/work/15921439/book/233080297.
- 13 two or more dates* https://www.librarything.de/work/12289727/book/211722124.
- 5 books one duplicate identical date*, one of which should be deleted° (°in my opinion) https://www.librarything.de/work/9530166/book/235532735.
- 7 books more than one identical date*, all but one of which should be deleted° .
- 9 books more than one date*, of which some {14 entries total} should be deleted°.
- 5 books with more than one entry ( 1 OPD* and >=1* other entries {11 remarks total} https://www.librarything.de/work/26620127/book/211316208.
- 2 OPD* with remarks https://www.librarything.de/work/23805526/book/215583570
This raises some questions:
- Why can multiple OPDs be entered at all. In my view, a work can only have one original publication date. Aren't first editions of translations of a work simply first editions of the respective language?
- I can live with it if the general opinion is different. But in that case, I would like the OPD to always appear as the first date, and editions of other editions should necessarily be specially marked.
- Double, identical entries, as well as dates referring to other editions (new editions, new translations etc.) should not be allowed.
I know that these points have already been discussed.
It would be good if an agreement could be reached on what should and should not be done. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

The bug with editing CK directly via the field in "Your books" sounds like it could be this bug?: /topic/338817#7738618
(if not, might want to post it as a new bug so it's clear for the developers what you have uncovered and they can investigate from a clean start).
The usage questions about multiple original publication date:
The site Help pages give a bit of info with links to some discussions:
https://wiki.librarything.com/index.php/Common_Knowledge#Original_publication_da...
This: /topic/22575 is what I think was the main discussion of the OPD field when it was added in 2007, could hold some answers.
There is this one in the CK group: /topic/144805 has some specific points but petered out.
(Or you might prefer to post a new discussion)

Since the original bug for this thread was fixed you'll want to report new bugs if you find them. Things get confusing when we have multiple bug reports mixed up in the same thread.
