importing a libby book export

I have not been able to import a downloaded file from libby that possesses the required fields for an import into LT. The import comes back with no ISBN's found. Yet, they are there. Is it because my libby reads are all audio books?

The error is coming from the sources when LT tries to find the books, not from your file most likely - when you import in LT and the file has ISBNs in it, each ISBN is looked up in the sources you had selected in your Add Books page and the data is pulled from there. As Amazon is not very good with recognizing audio-book ISBNs and you probably are using that as a source, it cannot find them.

Two options I can think of:
- Use an export that does not contain the ISBNs so LT can import as is (requires the special csv format)
- See if you can find a source that recognizes the ISBNs - get one of them and play with the sources to see which one can find it - and try to import using that.

If that is not the issue - which import you are using? Make sure you are using the Universal one and not MARC or GR or Shelfari.

Also - look on the side of the import page - there are some notes there that may point you to what may be the issue...

Also make sure that it is not only the "right fields" but with the exact names and the exact order as in the sample .csv file, with no additional or missing fields.

Thanks for that advice. I will pursue to see what works for me
