I'm currently embarking on Ovid's Metamorphoses along side a lovely art book of Titian's painting on the subject.
I know there has been a lot of art inspired by The Divine Comedy. Can anyone recommend an artist/art book that I can have at my side when I delve into Dante this spring?

>2 kdweber: Perfect! I found a paperback of Gustav Dore illustrations on Amazon as well for $17 USD

I was going to recommend Sandro Botticelli: The Picture Cycle for Dante's Divine Comedy, but the prices I found on line are ridiculous.

>4 lilithcat: That is one I saw as well, I am surprised there is not a reasonably priced copy to be found or seemingly even another book with those works included.
