Go to the MDS or LCC page (https://www.librarything.com/mds/ or https://www.librarything.com/lcc )
In the left column, click Tags. That link -- https://www.librarything.com/tags -- does not have a trailing slash and thus redirects to the home page.
Incidentally, the MDS page works with or without the trailing slash, the LCC page only works without the trailing slash.

Confirmed and acknowledged. I've pinged the developers about it, but I suspect if timspalding can't get to it today it'll have to wait until after the holiday. Thanks for the report.

Marking as fixed: there should be no left-hand side at all on those pages. They're gone now.
