Bar Codes

In set up, I changed to add bar codes, but I can't see how I print those. I also see I can order bar codes, but how do I connect those to each book?

Hi there! We don't have a built-in way for you to print barcode labels, if that's what you're looking to do. That said, you can generate your own labels by exporting your book data (see https://www.librarything.com/more/import) and running a Mail Merge of sorts. If you're looking to use LibraryThing's pre-printed barcodes, then you "connect" them to each book by simply applying the matching physical barcode label (for example, the label with barcode number 20) on the book with that barcode number in LibraryThing (in your library, barcode 20 would go on your "ABC I Like Me!" book: https://www.librarything.com/work/942998/book/207880159). Once you've applied all of your barcode labels to your books, you can then scan-to-search or scan-to-checkout a book by its unique barcode label, bringing up the book that you need quickly.

So, f I order the labels from your site, do they start with #1 like the system did when I started putting them in? And where do I go to scan to check books out. Can I do that in the mobile app as well?
