think i read this book in between (2010 - 2015 )
The heroine works in a lab , i don’t exactly remember what she does but i think she worked to investigate supernatural being .
One day she was working with a vampire whose mate was dying and they couldn’t help her, so the vampire died when his mate did(i think he killed himself) , but before he died he told her something (I don’t remember what), but later in the book she discovers that the vampire cursed her to lose the person she loved.
Anyway (again sorry i don’t remember the story clearly) but somehow she accidentally travels to a different realm and maybe different time , she finds herself in a castle and meets the hero who is also a vampire .
Another thing I remember is that the hero is royalty and he is one of three brothers .
The hero’s mother told them when they were young (before she died ) that they need to always be together so they can be strong , but someone cursed them to never unite , I think the hero doesn’t know where his brothers are.
There was this one part I remember at the end ,i think she was kidnapped and she was in a tent , a slave entered the tent ,and she realized that it was the hero pretending to be a slave to help her.
